the beginning.

I've been wanting to create a blog for awhile, but I never made time to do it. When my sister showed me hers I knew I needed to start one. We are both newly married and live in different states, so this is a perfect way to keep up with each other's new lives.

Here is a little about me for those who don't know me.... my name is Emily, most people call me Em. On May 7th I married the love of my life, Preston. We went to Vegas and had a romantic wedding at Caesar's Palace and The Venetian. It was so magical! We live in Plant City, FL. I play keyboard and sing backup in my husband's band, Maybe Foreign. We both are obsessed with music. Most importantly, we are both in love with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

My biggest passion is photography, it's something that I'm trying to learn more about and do in my spare time. Hopefully I'll be posting some of my work as I get more and more involved in that. In the meantime however, this blog will be filled with snapshots of my life.... my amazing new husband, family, friends, our band and other artists, and much more. I love meeting new people and sharing thoughts, ideas, designs, receipes, etc... so I'd love to hear from you!
