As you saw from my last post, me & Preston got to do a wedding photo shoot, and we had such a blast! It was so cute that Preston had to help me get ready... he did a great job at lacing up the back of my dress! haha

There has been alot of talk about scarves this fall..... I myself am a big fan. I recently got a new white & blue one... I just can't wait until the weather gets cooler =)

Sunday was the long-awaited Blink 182, All American Rejects, and Fall Out Boy concert! It was a sold out show at the Ford Amphitheatre, we got tickets in the pit area so we were super close. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to bring cameras in, but I got a couple pics from my camera phone. It was amazing!

We look trashy by the end of the night, but I caught a drumstick from Fall Out Boy's drummer!
It was a magical night =)

trash the dress - photo shoot

This weekend I entered for a chance to win a 'trash the dress' photo shoot with Divine Light Photography. Fortunately, they chose me! The catch was, that the shoot had to happen this week, because it is going to appear in an article in the sunday edition of the St. Pete Times!
I was so excited! We got to do so many fun, crazy things.... it was such a blast! Here are a few sample pictures, enjoy!

fall is in the air

It's still SO hot here in florida, but the fall season is upon us, and I'm so ready for it! It's really exciting this year because this is the first time that I have my own place to decorate! I've been looking at books and even blogs and getting great ideas from some of you.... keep up the fall decorating pictures and advice. ;)

I have a really great recipe that I think you all will love.... these always get me in the fall mood.

Pumpkin Chip Muffins

4 eggs
1 can of pumkin
1.5 cups canola or vegetable oil
1 cup of sugar
3 cups of flour (all purpose)
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 bag (12 oz) chocolate chips

Mix wet ingredients. In a seperate bowl mix dry ingredients. Add together. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 400 for 16-20 minutes. Makes approx. 2 dozen muffins

This week I tried Starbucks new fall drink, the Pumkin Spice Frappuccino. It is SO good, I'd never had it before.... actually Courtney mentioned it in her blog and I thought I would give it a try. It's definitely worth the price!

church, parties & new stuff!

I got a new keyboard! I love it, my hubby brought it home to surprise me this weekend.... he's so sweet! =)
Saturday night was Heather's birthday, we had a party to celebrate with some of our friends. Here's a couple pics....

Sunday night was church on the beach.... I loooooved it, the weather was gorgeous! Our 'pastor' Cliff who has been starting this church got ordained, was baptized, and performed a wedding and several baptisms!

Cliff is the young guy on the far right, the other 2 men are pastors from Lakeland.
Tony and Crystal got married by Cliff! It was cute, they are planning a bigger wedding next year.

Here is my friend Brandi before she gets baptized
This weekend I bought myself a new digital camera! My Canon Powershot was dying, it had been dropped so much I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. Here is my new one, I love it!

I hope you all had a good holiday weekend! =)

psych major syndrome

My friend Alicia wrote a book called 'psych major syndrome,' and it just recently got published! I'm so excited for her, and I can't wait to read the book.
I was honored to be in the trailer, part of it was recorded at our 'lil condo! And here, for your viewing pleasure, is the final product of the book trailer!

my weekend

This weekend Preston and I went to Universal Studios, and got to ride the brand new roller coaster, 'Hollywood Rip Ride Rock It!' You start out by going straight up, which is the best part of the ride... except for picking out your own music that you want blasting in your speakers.

Did you know that you can take short surveys at Universal and get paid? Haha, we love to do it, you just get to taste test food for their restaurants and they give you money to write down if you like it or not. It's that simple, and it gets us free food & drinks throughout the day, you can't beat it!

We went to see the new "Halloween" movie that's out in theaters.... and no, it wasn't good. I went with my husband & friends David & Eric. It was a good time even though the movie sucked, haha.

Yesterday my brother and I drove down to the beach, to visit my mom & Aunt who were staying for a few days. It was the most PERFECT weather, there was not a cloud in the sky, not a soul on the beach... we had such a fun relaxing day!

We had an amazing dinner at the Columbia restaurant, and walked around the shops at St. Armand's Circle. I found so much cute stuff, but I restrained from spending all my money =)

Tonight I made dirt cake for the very first time! All it needs is some gummy worms, which of course I forgot to get at the store. I bought an orange pot because I'm going to make this for halloween, with a hand coming out of it or something scary, haha.... but I had to make a tester first. From the taste of the batter it's gonna be great, and oh so fattening =)
