birthday boy

I have to brag about my husband, he is so amazing! Any guy can get you flowers, or tell you that you look beautiful. To me, the little things sometimes mean the most. Lately Preston has been doing so much around the house... dishes, laundry, cooking, vacuuming, running errands, dusting, keeping our fridge stocked.... I could go on and on. Before dishes can hit the sink he washes them, he does so much without ever being asked. I feel like the luckiest bride ever! Yesterday was our 5 month wedding anniversary, and married life has been amazing so far. I'm so fortunate to get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend =)

On October 6th my baby turned 26, he is getting to be an old man! haha.... we went with his family to the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Orlando. It was super fun, we walked around City Walk and saw 'Zombieland', it was pretty funny for a zombie movie.

I didn't have much time, but I tried to make Preston a birthday cake. I guess the cake wasn't cool enough when I stacked the top layer on the cake... and it starting splitting down the middle when I tried to ice it. I left the room for a minute, and when I came back I found this!

The top layer had split in 3 giant pieces and slid off the cake! Haha, oh well.... I bought him a nice store bought cake for the party with his friends. At least this one still tastes amazing!

My parents took us out to eat at Fred's Market restaurant for Preston's birthday. They bought him a Vans watch that he had really wanted, he loved it.

Later that night we had a party with Preston's family and friends... we went to Gameworks in Tampa. It was a blast challenging each other in pool, air hockey, basketball and tons of other games. I let Preston beat me at most of them, but I did kick butt in shooting hoops! He hasn't beat me at that yet ;)

Here is my adorable nephew Brody, I love him... he is such a funny character! Preston looks so cute in the picture below this, and he got the new season of the Office! Yay, I can't wait to watch it!

I'll end with this.... the other night we went on a late night run to starbucks, and guess what we found? A super cute raccoon! As we sat in the drive thru line, he kept walking up right to the car! I wanted to give him some food so bad, he was adorable.

I've been looking at puppies recently, but I might settle for a raccoon instead!
